MorphOS 3.6 to get Airport extreme WLAN support included!!

MorphOS: Beta test for AirPort-Extreme driver
Frank 'pega-1' Mariak has written a MorphOS driver for Apple-computers with integrated WLAN-support (screenshot from April 1st), which will be released together with MorphOS 3.6. If you are interested in a beta test, you offer your help.

The Broadcom-based WLAN-chipsets are supported by "AirPort Extreme" and "AirForce One 54g" (they are shown under ShowConfig with the manufacturer information $14E4 and the device numbers $4320 or $4318). According to Andreas Wolf, it is the following Apple-computers, which work under MorphOS:
eMac: all
iBook G4: all
PowerBook G4 Aluminium: all
Mac mini G4: all
PowerMac G4: FW800
PowerMac G5: all
As a kind of Easter gift and as tribute to the registration without working, integrated WLAN-solution, registered users with a compatible chipset can apply for the beta test of this b43-driver. Please use the following eMail address: [email protected].

Guarda proprio oggi stavo pensando di ripristinarla, in attesa dell'arrivo del case di Loriano, almeno la riaggiorno di tutto punto (è ferma da 8 mesi ormai).
Devo però trovare un case in disuso da usare nel frattempo, domani chiedo in ditta da me se hanno qualcosa

Ottimo , spero che il quad finalmente sia mos compatibile e che lo diventi presto visto la dritta che ho dato ai linux dev e sui forum PowerMac dove i dev mos vengono a farsi un giretto di solito ...:P

In realtà il Bluetooth aumm aumm funziona, almeno per tastiera e mouse, perché viene inizializzato con il firmware anche se la funzione non è documentata. (lo scrivemmo proprio qui in un thread molto apprezzato all'estero, eh, eh, eh!)

Ci vorrebbe un semplice programmino fatto ad hoc, per accoppiare due dispositivi e fare scambio file e/o supportare auricolari, etc.

Se sono originali MAC dovrebbero venir viste a prima botta.

Per le logitech compatibili Mac mi sa che è necessario associarle prima lato Mac, poi dovrebbero venir viste anche da MOS ma questo non te lo so dire con precisione. Devo comparne qualcuna io e fare prove... .
